Jura is a beautiful tranquil island situated off the west coast of Scotland and enjoys a milder climate due to the effect of the gulf stream.
Sandy and Edith Henry moved to Jura in 1967. Sandy was employed in the local distillery, his main duty being a Cooper from 1967-1983, making and repairing the barrels for the whisky and Edith ran a very popular Bed and Breakfast during the 70s and early 80s.
The house is now run as a 'Holiday Let' to allow people to come and stay on this beautiful Island and enjoy the escape from the Mainland as we so enjoy ourselves.
Jura Holiday Let (3 Woodside) is a typical semi-detached house located in the main village of Craighouse. It is within walking distance of all amenities which include the local shop, distillery, hotel and Small Isles Bay.
